Regarding specific skills, we do offer training to all interns, but some prior knowledge of 3D software and design is required. Specifically, the ideal candidate would be comfortable using SketchUp and/or Revit. Knowledge of the Adobe Suite would also be advantageous. An appreciation of contemporary Scandinavian design would be appreciated.
With regards to the Architecture and Planning courses, we would be open to applications from both courses. The applicants would be judged on the strength of their portfolio and relevance to our specialisms of sustainable urban design, contemporary wood construction, and research.
We would be happy to assist intern candidates with their Erasmus application by providing Letters of Intent and/or signed Learning Agreements for Ttraineeship as appropriate.
We are flexible with the start date and duration of the internship. However, we have found that an internship of 3 months or longer gives the intern a better experience, as they have time to settle into the workflow and have the opportunity to contribute to longer-term projects.
